The Village House is ready for cottage holidays, parties, weddings,
birthdays, meetings...
The Viuruniemi Village House built
in 1993
stands on the shore of clean and bright Lake Juojärvi at Lypsyniemi near the town of Outokumpu. Next to the House on
the lake shore there is a traditional Finnish sauna. An open fire
camp pit is also provided and a grilling hut, two sheds and a little "loo cabin".
The Village House is managed by the Viuruniemi Village Association.
The Village House has a main room (40m²), kitchen and a small loft. The
house has electricity. A large, covered
terrace (45
m²)
may be used for many purposes e.g. as a dancing floor. There are beds
or mattresses for 6 persons. The main room is equipped with a fire
place. The Village House fits in 50 persons and there is tableware and
cutlery for same number of persons.
Prices in 2012
Village House and sauna 50 €/night, VAT 0%. The property is at use
from 12 noon (date of arrival) till 12 noon (date of departure). Short
time use for meetings etc. 30 € (summer) and 40 € (autumn/spring),
VAT 0%. Between November and March only one week minimum bookings are
made.
Please note
Kindly leave the house and the sauna tidy and ready for next
guests. You will find the first-aid cupboard in the kitchen.
Please burn paper, cupboard etc. rubbish in the fireplace before you
leave and place the rest into the
dumpster on the back side of the house in a plastic bag. No smoking inside! There are metal ash trays for smokers
outside. Outside camp fires may
be built in the fire pit and grilling hut provided, however that Finnish fire alarm
regulations during dry summers are followed. Pets are not allowed
inside the house. We expect you to report and compensate for any damages
caused during your stay.
